Look, I know my car isn’t exotic. But I put a lot of time into caring for it and the paint. I don’t do it so you can lean on my car with your riveted jeans and keys hanging on other side.

Who fucking does this? How much disrespect do you have for other people's property? I might expect it from a random person off the street, but your car is parked RIGHT THERE. Please don't come to car shows if you're going to be such a disrespectful shithead

Not that I have no sympathy, but I solve that problem by driving scratch-n-dent specials. I wash them twice a year whether they need it or not, but I keep the windshields clean. By the time I get them, they've done the wildest depreciating they're going to do. So Shithead in the parking lot has less to work with.

Amen! I walked out of a store one day, to a lady leaned across my hood, writing a note on a piece of paper that she placed on the hood. When I asked her “lady what are you doing”, she looked at me like I was crazy, and proceeded to the car next to mine to continue her note. At first I thought maybe she bumped my car, and was about to leave a note. She never said a word.

I am usually not too worried about my cars but in parking lots people often times will lean up against them or set young children or possessions on them to make getting into their car easier, and that really annoys me. For the most part the car alarm goes off by itself but if I am within distance for it to auto-unlock (I have mine set to ten feet) it doesn’t so I hit the panic button and then I let the expression on my face do the speaking.

I wasnt afraid, it was more like a deer in the headlights scenario. Then I figured rather than make a scene or walk away from the group I was with I'd just keep an eye out and see if he moved. If he did it again I was going to go talk to him.

I would have set the alarm off from across the lot, or maybe just walked up without saying a word and grabbed something from the passenger door, making it really obvious he was in the way and shouldn’t be there.

Something like this happened to me a year or two ago. I was sitting inside my car in a parking lot, engine off. Three people come by and start talking to each other. One of them, god bless him, leaned up against the trunk of my car with his arm rested on the spoiler. Then, with his other hand, he sat his 711 big gulp on the deck lid. I sat in amazement at his stupidity for a few seconds, then I got out (which surprised him since he thought the car was empty) and said, “Get off the car.” You should have seen how embarrassed he was. I don’t know if he was trying to pass the car off as his to his two lady friends or if he was just an asshole. Either way, priceless.

Don’t let people do this to your car. It doesn’t matter how shocking it is. It isn’t worth him fucking your car up.
